Love the three step plan-so practical and useful and keeps us focused on what's really important. All too often I spend time in productive procrastination - things that need to be done but aren't vital.

As long as we choose our path and follow it, we will find ultimate happiness. Too many of us feel that our lives are imposed upon us - kids, work, relationships, etc. We need to claim our choices, embrace them, and make them what we want even if they do not turn out as originally planned.

Thanks for sharing your journey.

Amy - thanks for this post,as a fellow blogger I can relate to how easy it is to get caught up. I know I put google ads and didn't make a penny from them anyway, so I just left them off my new blog.

I'd love to hear your savvy mom advice as you discover the ins and outs of blogging about what you care about and how to make some money at it too.
