When trying to feed your family wholesome and nutritious meals, it’s not always easy to keep your budget in check. One way I save is to watch the sales at the supermarket and stock up on items I can use for a variety of recipes, such as whole wheat pasta, rice, beans, all natural canned tomatoes, chicken breasts or ground turkey. Using a variety of herbs, spices, cheese and fresh vegetables, it’s easy to create a healthy and balanced meal with just a handful of common ingredients.
